Dunlap &
Magee personnel are actively involved in industry professional
associations to assure our team is updated with the most current
information regarding the multifamily housing industry. Each Dunlap
& Magee regional supervisor is CPM® designated or
receiving the education required for the designation.
CPM®
(Certified Property Manager) is the highest
designation in our industry awarded by the Institute of Real Estate
Management upon completion of required training and experience
factors.
In addition to training offered by the Institute of Real
Estate Management and other professional organizations, Dunlap
& Magee has regularly scheduled in-house training to keep
employees aware of current market trends, portfolio performance,
and our clients’ objectives.
All employees
are required to attend annual policy and procedural training.
Additionally, there are specific policies important to newly hired
employees that are covered on an as needed basis.
Bi monthly
meetings of all site personnel are held to review industry specific
topics and may include attorneys or other industry professionals as
guest speakers. Workshops are held quarterly to provide hands on
training in areas such as marketing, leasing, risk management and
inventory control.
Monthly tours
of all properties within each submarket are completed by on site
and corporate employees. These visits assure we know our
competition’s product and strengths and provide us key knowledge to
be the best in every situation. On site staff receive one on one
support to strengthen personal performance, and understanding of
company polices and procedures. Applicable seminars provided by the
Arizona Multihousing Association and Institute of Real Estate
Management are offered to all employees.
